Back End Developer

Fresh Prints is an NYC-based custom apparel startup. We find incredible students and give

them the working capital, training, and support to build the business at their schools. We have

300+ students who will do over $10 million in sales over the next 12 months.

You’ll be focused on the next $50 million. How do we develop additional revenue channels?

What new unique value propositions can we create through tech? How do we usher in the next stage at Fresh Prints?

Those are the questions the members of our cross-functional Growth Teamwork through every

day. They do so not as developers, designers, or marketers, but as entrepreneurs, determined to drive the business forward.

You’d be one of four web developers on the team. As such, you’ll touch every

component of the agile product development process. You’ll work with our developers, UX/UI

designers, and QA team to understand users, scope out new tech, prioritize features, and set

timelines. You’ll be directly responsible for writing, reviewing, debugging, and documenting our

code.

Requirements

● 4+ years of experience as a back end developer

● Expertise with NodeJS/Java, MySQL, AWS, and RestAPIs

● Experience with both object-oriented and functional programming and test-driven development

● Able to connect the dots between code and business value

● Perfect English fluency

Responsibilities

● Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code that powers our application

● Write specs and do planning for everything we build

● Conduct application analysis, testing, and debugging

● Diligently document code to keep it clean and transparent

● Ensure cross-browser and device compatibility while maintaining general web standards

● The job is based out of our office in the city of Nizams and Nizams and Biryani

● Hours are 5:30pm - 3:30am IST, 8:00am - 6:00pm EST (this is slightly flexible in either

direction)
