Warehouser/Receiver -1st Shift

SUMMARY
Responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt of raw materials, supplies and non-Frontier products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Unloads incoming freight to receiving dock.
•    Uses computerized inventory control system and scanning equipment to ensure accurate inventory of incoming goods.
•    Enters movement of raw materials and non-Frontier products into computerized inventory control system.
•    Ensures efficient placement of product in finished goods inventory through consolidation of items into standard locations.
•    Transports finished goods from receiving area and production floor into finished goods storage.
•    Enters movement of FG’s into computerized inventory control system.
•    Communicates with others through email system.
•    Proactively communicates continual improvement suggestions.
•    Strives to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and re-use resources when practical.
•    Works safely at all times, follows safety rules and policies and participates in scheduled training.
•    Reports injuries and near misses promptly and in required detailed format; proposes corrective action.
•    Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and no experience necessary.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple notices and instructions, including operating procedures and safety rules.  Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

QUANTITATIVE SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
•    Good organizational and problems-solving skills
•    Ability to work within a team concept.
•    Ability to operate (or learn to operate) manual pallet jacks.
•    Ability to operate (or learn to operate) powered industrial trucks.
•    Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel and email.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Forklift operator certification required.
