Lighting Retrofit Technician

Responsibilities

As a Lighting Retrofit Technician, you will be responsible for installing lighting products safely and neatly in customer’s facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of professional customer service and have a vast knowledge of lighting retrofit strategies. Additionally, there is a hiring bonus for bringing a complete crew.

• Comply with FSG safety policies
• Install lighting fixtures, lamps, ballasts, controls, or other items associated with lighting systems
• Work in a safe manner so as not to damage or disturb customer's facilities
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Perform physically demanding tasks while conveying knowledge of basic/specialized tools and equipment throughout the service job/work order process
• Must understand and conform to Government/Local regulations and ordinances as well as any/all required Safety Guidelines

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will satisfy the following requirements and qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• At least 3-5 years of lighting and electrical experience required
• Ability to pass any pre-employment screenings
• Retrofit experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel
• Must be reliable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive customer service skills

Pay Range

USD $25.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
