IT Project Manager - TSA Carve-out (Pharma)

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate TSA carve-out and IT separation activities as part of a complex business divestiture or transformation program.

The role will be responsible for managing the separation and transition of applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, vendors, and IT services from the existing environment into a standalone target setup, while ensuring business continuity and successful TSA exit.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT carve-out and TSA exit projects.
• Manage separation and migration activities across applications, infrastructure, data, integrations, networks, security, and end-user services.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.
• Coordinate activities across IT, business functions, external vendors, system integrators, and separation teams.
• Manage TSA-related deliverables and ensure readiness for transition before TSA expiration.
• Drive application and data migration activities from legacy or parent-company environments into new standalone environments.
• Coordinate system decommissioning, access separation, and service transition activities.
• Ensure business continuity throughout migration and separation activities.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies across multiple workstreams.
• Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and project status reporting.
• Identify risks and blockers and drive mitigation and resolution actions.
• Support cutover planning, go-live activities, hypercare, and post-transition stabilization.

• Strong experience in IT Project Management, preferably within large-scale transformation, separation, divestiture, or M&A programs.
• Proven experience managing TSA carve-outs, TSA exits, or IT separation projects.
• Experience coordinating complex application, infrastructure, data, and integration migrations.
• Strong understanding of IT environments, including enterprise applications, infrastructure, networks, security, and cloud services.
• Experience managing multiple vendors, system integrators, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project planning, risk management, dependency management, and governance skills.
• Experience with cutover planning, migration, deployment, and hypercare activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across both technical and business teams.
• Strong delivery mindset with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a must.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• For this role, we do not offer a relocation package. Candidates must be based in Europe and have the legal right to work in their country of residence.
