Position Title: Backroom Associate
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Backroom Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for processing merchandise, organizing inventory, and maintaining an efficient stockroom environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working independently, can stay productive with minimal supervision, and is comfortable working early morning shifts following truck deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload merchandise deliveries in a safe and efficient manner.
- Process, sort, and prepare merchandise for the sales floor after truck deliveries.
- Organize and maintain the backroom/warehouse to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.
- Accurately stock, label, and store merchandise according to company procedures.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Support store operations as needed and help maintain a productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including truck delivery days.
- Comfortable spending most of the workday in the backroom/warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle merchandise throughout the shift.
- Strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and remain productive without close supervision.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
- Previous retail, warehouse, or stockroom experience is preferred but not required.
