Gagosian seeks a Technology Intern to join its New York City Technology team.
Gagosian is a global gallery specializing in modern and contemporary art, with locations across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The Gallery works with leading artists, estates, and institutions around the world and supports a wide range of exhibitions, sales, and operational functions across its global offices.
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the intern will support the day to day technology needs of the Gallery while gaining exposure to systems, networking, data management, auditing, and user support. This role is well suited for someone with a degree or educational background in technology or a related field who is eager to learn and develop practical experience in a professional environment.
- Assist with day to day technology support for employees across the Gallery
- Help monitor, respond to, and resolve incoming technology support tickets
- Support data management projects and help maintain accurate system information
- Assist with ongoing system and technology audits
- Provide support with networking needs, connectivity issues, and network maintenance
- Work alongside the Technology team on various systems and infrastructure projects
- Provide general administrative and project support to the Technology department
- Assist with additional technology projects as assigned
- Degree or educational background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and general technology support
- Comfortable troubleshooting technology issues and learning new systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with employees across different departments
- Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities in a professional environment
- Based in New York
- Hybrid Schedule based on the needs of the Gallery
- Reports to the Director of Information Technology
- Commitment: 5 months
