As a Garrett Engineer Strategy intern your responsibilities can include these activities:

• Help drive Garrett engineering strategic priorities

• Build excel and data models to help make strategic decisions

• Build models to estimate should cost

• Create analytical models to estimate financial budgets for engineering

• Help map out the overall engineering strategy for the next 10 years

• Help optimize engineering suppliers, contract workers and global employee locations and footprint

• Provide support to drive Garrett engineering transformation

Expectation:

• Quick turnaround of mini projects

• Fast pace work

• Exposure to senior leaders at Garrett

• Understanding of how Garrett HQ and central decisions work

• Steep learning curve on data modeling, strategy, management and leadership

• DESIRABLE BACKGROUND:

•  Student pursuing last year of an Engineering degree

• A team player personality who likes to learn and wants to achieve her goals together with others

• Strong analytical and data mindset

• Experience with excel and datasheets

• Business and management acumen

• Engineering background or experience is a plus

• Good communication skills in both written and spoken English

• Duration: 6-9months
