Working as part of an existing team, the selected candidate would be expected to perform the following duties:
- Prepare wall and floor surfaces for tiling, ensuring they are level, clean and ready for installation;
- Measure, cut and lay ceramic, porcelain, natural stone and other types of tiles;
- Install wall and floor tiles in accordance with project specifications and quality standards;
- Apply adhesives, grout and sealants, ensuring a high-quality finish;
- Carry out tile repairs, replacements and maintenance works;
- Install skirting tiles, stair nosings and decorative tile finishes where required;
- Ensure waterproofing and surface preparation are carried out correctly before tiling works;
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.
The selected candidate will preferably:
- Have previous experience in a similar role within the Building Service Industry;
- Have a good command of the English language;
- Have a strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and workplace safety;
- Be self-motivated, reliable and capable of working independently as well as part of a team;
- Be a team player with honest and mature personality
