Working closely with the Bodyshop team and an existing team of dynamic individuals, the selected candidate will essentially be expected to:
- Carrying out the required diagnostic surveys as well as repairs on motorbikes.
- Ensuring that company and manufacturer operating policies are always followed.
- Being fully conversant with manufacturer technical publications and bulletins, maintaining them in an organised manner and referring to resource information when required.
- Making full use of manufacturer training and available technical information, and being fully familiar with the use of all workshop equipment.
- Promoting and enforcing safe work habits and housekeeping procedures to maintain a safe and clean workshop environment.
- Continually seeking ways to improve job performance and enhance personal development.
- Standing in for higher grades if and when required by the Company.
The ideal candidate should:
- have proven experience in motorcycle bodywork, panel repairs, and finishing.
- possess strong technical and diagnostic skills related to motorcycle repairs.
- be capable of working independently and taking initiative.
- be organised and able to work under pressure while maintaining high quality standards.
- have a strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship excellence.
- have a good command of the English language.
- experience in intricate and specialised welding will be considered an asset.
Applicants must be in possession of a clean driving licence.
