    Job Overview:  Ensure the creation, updating, communicating and managing of group room blocks, to accommodate guest needs and maximize revenue. Ensures rate integrity by working with the Sales and Catering Director to establish Group pricing based on trends and demands. Establish and update MAR Rates. In-House contact for all group building, maintenance, and manages all rooming lists in conjunction with the Call Center team, allowing the Sales team to focus on selling and promoting the Hotel and Mystic Lake Center.

    Assists with monitoring, auditing and balancing multiple systems in the call center (Opera/Travel Tripper/RaFT/Rainmaker). Will work closely with Sales and Catering Director in regards to hotel occupancy and system analysis. Attends Group Pickup meetings to manage approaching cutoff dates  and suggest extensions if needed, to also include the addition of rooms into group blocks if possible.

    Illuminate Your Future: What You'll Do:

    • Process and handle group rooming lists, reservations, and associate reservations requests by inputting data into Opera, ensuring proper data transfer into the system and consistency in the format. Ensures accuracy in information provided by Sales Executives to the Hospitality team, and notates any and all abnormalities so they can be addressed in a timely fashion.
    • Monitors, updates, and audits online booking channel performance, and identifies revenue opportunities. Ensures accuracy and rate parity contracts are being upheld, and maintains accuracy of photos and rate plans on MysticLake.reztrip.com home hotel site.
    • Assists Hotel Yield Supervisor in the development and revisions of forecasts for the Hospitality Department.
    • Reviews reservation entries booked by Call Center and Casino Hosts, to ensure accuracy in rates and routing. Generates and monitors daily booking transactions to keep inventory balanced.
    • Prepares and distributes daily, weekly, monthly and annual sales and occupancy reports for Sales, Casino Marketing, and Hospitality. Tracks turnaways and assists with Rev Max and Daily Rates meetings.
    • Creates and monitors rate plans and prepares selling strategy reports and tracking to Manager.
    • Performs system analysis in multiple property management systems within department to ensure maximization of occupancy and revenue.
    • Performs rate and content configuration in multiple booking systems (Opera, Travel Tripper, RezTrip, RaFT, Rainmaker)
    • Assists in conducting system audits.
    • Performs data tracking in systems.
    • Assists in training when needed, and assists Sales with any questions concerning groups.

    Occasional Tasks:

    • Serve as a key point of contact in the absence of the Call Center Supervisor.
    • May attend meetings in the absence of Hotel Yield Supervisor.

    Job Requirements: Reflects MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING, CERTIFICATION and EXPERIENCE required in order to meet the expectation of this job:

    • A combination of post-high school education and/or hotel, revenue management, or call center reservation experience to equal three years.
    • Extensive knowledge of Opera PMS, Travel Tripper, RaFT and Rainmaker.
    • Ability to analyze data and compile/present information.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.  Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.  Must be able to type 35 wpm.
    • Must be able to pass basic math test.
