This role is based in Evendale, Ohio and supports repair and inspection capability development for high-precision turbomachinery components. The team develops and qualifies repair and inspection technologies, industrializes new and updated processes, and delivers program-ready solutions to repair facilities—working at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and engine assembly. (Program support may include the F110 site and related repair operations.)
The Repair Development Engineer is responsible for the development, qualification, and industrialization of repair and inspection technologies and for delivering program deliverables to repair facilities to enable new or updated processes. The role requires strong technical fundamentals, the ability to lead multi-disciplinary project teams, and effective communication of cost/schedule progress and technical information to internal and external stakeholders.
This position operates with some autonomy within established procedures, using technical judgment to resolve issues and partnering with more senior team members when problems extend beyond defined parameters. A hands-on, collaborative approach in repair shop environments is important for success.
