Roles and Responsibilities
Identify, develop, evaluate, introduce, and manage engineering solutions for product control and control system technology needs. Apply control theory and mathematical modeling to design and control systems with desired behaviors. Includes operability, setting of boundaries, cycle optimization, control logic, control related software, sensors, hardware and software algorithms, and feedback to control the performance of devices, subsystems and systems.
Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
Commissioning of the system as per the Design approved by Customer & FAT Carried out.
Willingness to travel is a must.
To have knowledge on Integration of IEDs of different OEMs with IEC61850
Should be able to troubleshoot on the network architecture for proper functioning of SAS System. This Job Requires Exclusive
Required Qualifications:
This role requires basic experience in the Site Commissioning, Engineering/Technology & Controls Engineering. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
3 to 5 years of Experience with Relevant commissioning experience.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, and execute Commissioning activities with Safety as no one Priority.
