Job Summary
Geiger is seeking a motivated graduate-level or advanced undergraduate student to support AI adoption and business process improvement. The role combines AI research, workflow analysis, project coordination, change enablement, data analysis, and responsible technology practices.
Key Responsibilities
AI Enablement & Innovation
- Identify and document high-value AI use cases across business functions.
- Research relevant AI tools and adoption practices, and assess organizational readiness.
- Support pilots and proofs of concept that improve efficiency and employee effectiveness.
Business Process Improvement
- Analyze and map current workflows to identify automation and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders to define future-state processes, objectives, and success measures.
- Recommend practical changes that reduce manual effort and improve productivity and user experience.
Project Coordination & Change Management
- Coordinate project plans, milestones, risks, action items, and status reporting.
- Organize stakeholder meetings and discovery sessions and maintain clear project documentation.
- Develop communications, training materials, and adoption resources for new tools and processes.
Data & Performance Analysis
- Analyze operational data to support business cases and recommendations.
- Define KPIs, measure outcomes, and identify realized efficiencies.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate progress and business value.
Governance & Responsible AI
- Help document AI governance guidelines, usage, and implementation decisions.
- Evaluate solutions against organizational policies, security requirements, and ethical standards.
- Research relevant regulations and frameworks and support repeatable evaluation and deployment practices.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a graduate or senior undergraduate program in AI, data science, business analytics, information systems, computer science, business administration, operations management, organizational leadership, or a related field.
- Understanding of business process analysis, workflow improvement, and operational efficiency.
- Familiarity with AI, automation, analytics, or other emerging digital tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and documentation skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to business audiences.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
Preferred Skills
- Experience through an internship, co-op, research, or professional role involving AI, business analysis, process improvement, project management, data analytics, or digital transformation.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Platform, automation, data visualization, or reporting tools.
- Familiarity with process mapping, change management, and Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or related project frameworks.
