Responsibilities:
- Act independently, developing without significant supervision.
- Communicate and document progress for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Report and present progress clearly and effectively to peers and management.
- Be a team player by participating in peer review, sharing ideas and helping everyone succeed.
- Understand domain data sets and their characteristics such that data sets with similar characteristics may be generated.
Qualifications:
- A master's or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of industry experience on multidisciplinary image-based projects in either engineering or science disciplines
- Theoretical and empirical experience in machine learning
- Experience with business team requirements
- Experience implementing and evaluating machine learning models
- Experience applying deep neural networks to vision problems
- Comfortable improving existing code and refining existing models
- History of creating and working with datasets, preferably large datasets
- Experience manipulating and analyzing data from different sources
- Able to write clean, re-usable, and production-ready code
- Familiar with Python, deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Keras, TensorFlow, Pytorch, numpy and sklearn
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
