We have an immediate opening for the position of Part-Time Amusement Associate. This position is for the Cambridge area – KingPin. You will be expected to work a variable schedule which will include days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
AMUSEMENT ASSOCIATE (ARCADE ATTENDANT) – Part-time
Job Duties
- Provide exceptional and friendly guest service
- Obtain payment for playcard purchases in the form of debit and credit
- Maintain cash out operations by following policies and procedures
- Upsell playcards to maximize guest service
- Redeem prizes for guests at the Redemption counter and obtain e-tickets as payment
- Maintaining redemption operations by following policies and procedures
- Restocking of merchandise
- Address and rectify guest comments and concerns
- Assist in maintaining presentation and working condition of the facility including its amusement equipment, redemption counter, storage areas etc.
- Assist in maintaining stock levels of supplies for all game locations and Games Rooms
- Ensure the Games Rooms exceeds the cleanliness standard.
Requirements
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays, as required.
- Works well in a busy environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work under pressure while complying with all relevant legislation
- Some mechanical troubleshooting knowledge preferred
- Excellent organizational, communication, customer service, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Experience with monitoring and controlling inventory an asset
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems will be considered an asset
