What We’re Looking For:

· Independent problem solver with attention to detail

· Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team members

· 3 to 6 years of experience maintaining medical equipment

· Associate degree in electronic technology, biomedical technology, or equivalent military training/experience

· Proficient in medical electronic principles, schematics, and theories

· Works effectively with limited supervision

What You Will Do:
Play a key role in maintaining and repairing critical patient care equipment to ensure optimal operation and safety throughout the healthcare system. As a Biomedical Technician II, you will also support the development of junior technicians and help enhance our department’s capabilities.

· Complete all assigned preventive maintenance (PM) for the current and prior months, following work orders and manufacturer guidelines

· Maintain accurate PM program documentation in accordance with department policies

· Troubleshoot and repair a variety of medical equipment using test equipment and service manuals

· Ensure all repaired equipment is thoroughly safety-checked and documented

· Calibrate and repair complex patient care devices

· Provide guidance and technical assistance to Biomedical Technician I team members

· Perform other duties as assigned
