Dragger Operator

Primary Purpose of the Role

The Senior Equipment Operator (Dragger) is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of dragger equipment to support large-scale material movement and site productivity in Geotic Industries Inc.’s operational environments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate dragger equipment for large-volume material handling.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections and complete equipment logs.
• Ensure safe load handling and terrain navigation.
• Report mechanical issues immediately to Mine manager
• Adhere to all safety, operational, and environmental procedures.
• Support site supervisors in operational planning.

Reporting Relationship

Reports to: Mine Manager / Operations Supervisor.

Safety and Compliance Obligations

• Mandatory use of PPE at all times.
• Compliance with OSH standards and internal safety policies.
• Participation in toolbox meetings and safety drills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 2 year’s experience operating draggers.
• Proven safety record.

Knowledge and Experience

• Advanced equipment handling.
• Load management.
• Basic mechanical knowledge.

• Mandatory medical clearance
• Disciplinary consequences for safety breaches
• Immediate suspension for unsafe operation
