WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Functional Lead, DCC & ATM, these will be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:

• Lead functional analysis for DCC & ATM initiatives, acting as the primary functional reference across the domain.
• Elicit, analyse and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Define end-to-end functional solutions, business processes, customer journeys and operating models aligned with business and technology objectives.
• Partner with Product Managers to identify business opportunities, assess impacts and support roadmap definition and prioritisation.
• Support backlog management and refinement, ensuring strategic initiatives are translated into clear and executable deliveries.
• Coordinate with business, product and engineering teams to manage dependencies, resolve functional issues and support successful implementation.
• Guide Business Analysts and other stakeholders on functional practices, promoting consistency across initiatives.
• Monitor execution progress, validate delivered solutions and ensure outcomes achieve the expected business value and strategic objectives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are searching for a Functional Lead, DCC & ATM to join our team in Madrid, with the following qualifications and background:

Professional Experience

• 7+ years of experience in functional analysis, product-related roles and operations. (Required)
• Experience working in cross-functional and international environments. (Preferred)

Education

• University degree or equivalent higher education. (Required)

Languages

• Professional proficiency in English. (Required)
• Spanish proficiency. (Preferred)

Hard Skills

• Strong knowledge of FX solutions. (Required)
• Experience in functional design and requirements definition. (Required)
• Experience working in Agile or product-based environments. (Required)
• Experience contributing to backlog management and product-related activities. (Required)
• Practical experience using AI tools for mock-ups, documentation and workflow optimisation. (Required)

• Experience supporting initiatives across international, cross-functional environments. (Preferred)

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills across cross-functional teams. (Required)
• Strong stakeholder management skills. (Required)
• Ability to provide functional guidance and leadership to Business Analysts and stakeholders. (Required)

• Strong ability to promote best practices and consistency across initiatives. (Preferred)
