SUMMARY
Reporting to the Risk Director, this role leads practical, decision-focused project risk management across a portfolio of projects. The Risk Manager will work closely with estimating, scheduling, design/engineering, construction, and commercial from pre-construction through to project delivery.
PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE
Risk Governance & Strategy
Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of project risk-management plans, risk registers, treatment strategies, mitigation plans, governance, and reporting.
Apply sound judgement to monitor and escalate key risks to relevant stakeholders.
Support the Risk Director in advancing industry-leading risk architectures.
Analysis & Quantitative Modeling
Lead qualitative and quantitative cost and schedule risk analyses (QRA) at key proposal, design, and delivery milestones.
Develop, maintain, and interpret integrated QRA cost and schedule analysis risk models utilizing Safran Risk.
Workshop Facilitation & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Plan and facilitate multidisciplinary risk workshops, spanning initial brainstorming through identification, assessment, review, and mitigation phases.
Partner with project controls, cost estimating, design, procurement, construction, and commercial teams to validate inputs and integrate risk management across project disciplines.
Training, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Deliver risk management education, coaching, and training for project teams.
Prepare comprehensive risk reports, dashboards, presentations, and documentation while embedding lessons learned and driving continuous improvement.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
WHAT WE OFFER
Expected Base Salary: $160,000 - $170,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location, and market expectations.
