Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for an Environmental Risk Assessor Intern to join our team in 2027! At GHD, our Intern Risk Assessors are typically engaged in projects that apply risk assessment and risk management strategies to support contaminated site decision-making under Federal, state, and international site cleanup programs. This includes supporting and implementing site characterization and remedial action projects that involve efforts to identify and control potentially unacceptable human and ecological exposures to chemicals in the environment.
In this role you will assist in the evaluation of large environmental datasets for a wide variety of traditional, as well as emerging (e.g., PFAS), or proprietary chemicals, observe how to interpret site characterization data, perform statistical and spatial data analysis, support contaminant fate/transport and exposure modeling to quantitatively evaluate human health and/or ecological risks, assist with the preparation of reports and other written communications.

Salary Range: $20.00 - $21.00 based on experience and location.
