Activities Assistant

The Activities Assistant will assist the Life Enrichment Director with ongoing programs consisting of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident. Day and evening shifts, with every other weekend required.

Performance Standards:

• Implement a plan of activities appropriate to the needs of the residents of the facility that include: group social activities, indoor and outdoor activities, activities away from the facility, spiritual programs and attendance at houses of worship, and creative activities.

• Assist with a program provided on a daily basis, which will include days, evenings and weekends. At least thirty (30) minutes of staff time shall be provided per resident per week for activities duties.
