The Opportunity

The Specialist, HR Solutions Excellence plays a key role in Gibraltar’s HR shared services model, providing Tier 1 HR support to employees and managers across multiple business units.

As a first point of contact for HR questions and requests, this role manages cases from intake through resolution, resolves inquiries using established resources and systems, and escalates more complex matters when appropriate. This role also identifies opportunities to improve HR knowledge content and processes based on recurring questions and case trends.

What You'll Do

• Provide Tier 1 HR support to employees and managers across multiple business units.
• Manage HR cases from intake through resolution, ensuring requests are documented and addressed accurately and timely.
• Research and resolve HR questions using established policies, processes, knowledge resources, and HR systems.
• Escalate complex matters to the appropriate HR partner or subject matter expert when needed.
• Guide employees and managers to available HR tools, knowledge articles, and self-service resources.
• Identify opportunities to create or update knowledge articles based on recurring inquiries, case trends, process changes, and gaps in available information.
• Identify trends and opportunities to improve HR processes, service delivery, and the employee experience.
• Support HR data integrity, routine audits, reporting, compliance activities, and HR Solutions Excellence initiatives as needed.

What We Need

• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in HR operations, shared services, or employee support.
• Experience with a case management, ticketing, or service request system preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment regulations.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities while maintaining accuracy and appropriate documentation.
• Ability to translate HR policies and processes into clear, user-friendly guidance and knowledge content.
• Experience with HR systems required; UKG preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent HR experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification considered a plus.
• Domestic travel up to 10%.
