The Spine Team has a need for a part time (0.8FTE) Physician Assistant to support outpatient, inpatient, perioperative care, and in surgical settings to meet increasing clinical demand and provide timely, high-quality patient care.
The Physician Assistant will provide care to patients in a family-centered model with complex acute, critical and chronic health care conditions, advises patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and/or provide skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their families. Delivers comprehensive patient care which maximizes outcomes in a manner consistent with the organization’s mission, philosophies and in accordance with professional practice standards. Under the guidance of the physician(s), the PA-C assesses, diagnoses, plans, and manages patients with acute and chronic injury or illness. Duties may include, performing procedures, ordering and interpreting lab results; prescribing medications, durable equipment and advanced therapeutic interventions, developing care plans, implementing transitions in levels of care; providing supportive research and education and fostering leadership in the advanced PA-C role. This position will work with Gillette physicians and nurse practitioners to enhance Gillette’s current medical service delivery model.
Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this opportunity is $113,880 to $170,830, with a median salary of $142,355. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees.
