Production Technician - 1st Shift

About the Role
As a Production Technician, you're at the heart of our operation—filling jars, maintaining high safety and quality standards, and ensuring every product meets expectations before it reaches the shelf. This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and incredibly important to keeping the line moving and our customers happy.

You’ll be responsible for running equipment, inspecting products, and making real-time decisions to stop the line if something’s off. If you're someone who takes ownership, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys working as part of a tightly knit team, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

• Operate food production equipment safely and efficiently
• Complete pre-flight checklists and bring out materials based on the daily schedule
• Maintain proper fill weights and temperatures for food safety and quality
• Inspect jars, lids, and labels to ensure everything matches the production schedule
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure specifications are met
• Follow all GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and food safety procedures
• Keep accurate records and complete all required paperwork clearly
• Respond to issues on the line, taking corrective action and notifying supervision when needed
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas
• Assist teammates and cover other tasks when necessary
• Adhere to company safety policies and promote a positive, respectful work environment

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance

• Frequent standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift

• Work may occur in varied environmental conditions (cold, heat, humidity)

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing; food production preferred

• Strong awareness of food safety and personal safety practices

• Mechanical and mathematical aptitude

• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying environmental conditions

• Reliability, teamwork, and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced setting

• Good communication skills and a willingness to pitch in where needed
