Givens Aldersgate is looking for a Part-Time CDL Driver to provide transportation to the residents of Givens Aldersgate in accordance with the Department of Transportation regulations for Commercial Drivers and Givens Aldersgate policies and procedures.
- Schedule/ Availability: Mornings, evenings, & weekends
What you'll do:
- Provides transportation for Aldersgate residents cross-campus and off campus in accordance with facility policies and procedures and regulatory guidelines.
- Exhibits a working knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to a commercial driver’s license.
- Relays situations/problems concerning the residents, vehicles, other persons, etc. to appropriate staff, providing supportive documentation as appropriate.
- Perform pre-trip inspection prior to each trip and submit reports on a timely basis.
- Provides an atmosphere on the vehicles that is environmentally and emotionally pleasant for the riders.
- Accurately keeps co-workers and supervisor well informed on a timely basis, communicating through proper channels.
- Maintains confidentiality of communication and information related to residents, co-workers, etc.
What you'll need:
- High School or Equivalent
- 1+ years of transportation experience
- CDL
Compensation: $17.50 - $20.50 per hour, based on experience.
