We’ve developed an audience of 1.5M+ across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and our own platform. Our content is central to how we educate brands, build trust with factories, and make the manufacturing world more transparent.

About the Team
Being a Founding Engineer at Glass Factory means building the technical foundation of the company. You will own meaningful product surfaces end-to-end, from idea to production. This role sits at the intersection of product, backend systems, and customers. You’ll lead the development of features that directly impact customers, while working closely with the founding team. You’ll be responsible not just for how things are built, but what gets built and why.
What You’ll Do
Own product development end-to-end
- Take ownership of features or product areas on a 3–6 week cadence, from concept through rollout
- Translate product goals into concrete engineering plans and execution
Partner deeply with Product & Design
- Collaborate with Product on ideation, scoping, and prioritization
- Help turn ambiguous product ideas into clear technical requirements
Build across the stack
- Lead development across backend and frontend
- Typical ownership areas include:
- Backend workflows, APIs, data models, and AI features.
- Feature-level infrastructure (jobs, orchestration, observability)
- Product logic that spans backend + frontend
What We’re Looking For
You’re a product-minded engineer
- You frame engineering work in terms of user value and business impact
- You care deeply about what you’re building, not just how
- You enjoy owning a problem end-to-end and seeing it through to customers
You’re technically strong
- 5+ years of experience building full-stack systems
- Python (Django, FastAPI), TypeScript (React)
- MongoDB, Postgres
- AWS, Snowflake, Temporal0
- Experience working with data-heavy systems and production infrastructure
- Familiar with modern product stacks and tooling
Your working style
- You take extreme ownership of everything you do
- You move fast, iterate, and aren’t afraid of ambiguity
- You communicate clearly and make tradeoffs explicit
- You raise the bar for quality while shipping continuously
- You are excited to get in front of customers and learn from them
- You want to work in person 5 days/week
