Role Overview
Our Los Angeles office is seeking to recruit talented individuals to join as experienced analysts for an immediate start. Analysts provide direct support to senior bankers and are expected to handle a high level of responsibility in the execution of restructuring and distressed financing transactions. The Los Angeles office provides a combination of top-tier restructuring talent and a lean, entrepreneurial team environment. Analysts work on small deal teams in a tight-knit, collegial culture that emphasizes mentorship, apprenticeship, and long-term development. For candidates seeking the standards and training of a leading restructuring platform without the layers of a large analyst pool, this role offers uncommon exposure, accelerated development, and strong potential for increased responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

Analysts will assume significant ownership across all phases of transaction execution, including:

• Analyzing companies, industries, capital structures, liquidity profiles, historical financial statements, and projected financial information
• Building financial models and performing valuation analyses
• Conducting industry and company research
• Managing and executing due diligence
• Preparing presentations, board materials, and other client-facing materials
• Leveraging AI-tools to maximize efficiency

Qualifications

GLC Advisors seeks candidates with a demonstrated record of excellence, including:

• Exceptional work ethic and intellectual curiosity
• Proven self-starter with leadership qualities and analytical aptitude
• Undergraduate degree from an outstanding institution with exceptional academic achievement
• Prior experience working within a bulge-bracket boutique investment bank, or experience in restructuring, leveraged finance, or debt capital markets is preferred, but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable in high visibility, smaller team setting
• Familiarity with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Bloomberg and other financial information tools
• Demonstrable ties to Los Angeles or Southern California strongly preferred
