CDL Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator

Glen-Gery is seeking a reliable, experienced, and safety-conscious CDL Driver / Heavy Equipment Operator to support daily operational needs. This position requires operating CDL-class vehicles and various types of heavy equipment as part of general business operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate CDL-class vehicles safely and effectively
• Operate heavy equipment as needed
• Assist with loading and unloading materials
• Support general operational and yard/warehouse activities
• Maintain equipment through daily checks and reporting issues
• Follow all company safety and housekeeping practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational, basic math, and computer skills
• Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and CDL-class vehicles
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Safety focused
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma, GED, or Technical Trade
• One to two years of experience with material handling, driving, or equipment operation preferred
• CDL Class A with Air Brakes required
