US Commodities Trading Networking Event (Virtual)

This event is aimed at current students and recent college graduates who are interested in Glencore's NYC and Houston graduate programs. Glencore cannot sponsor visas for applicants living outside of the United States.
Please note we also have networking events taking place in New York (September 15) and Houston (September 17). If you are based in either location, we strongly recommend applying to attend in-person.

The Glencore 2026 Commodities Trading Networking Event 

Join us for Glencore’s Commodities Trading Networking Event, where you will have the opportunity to learn more about the industry and network with some of Glencore’s senior leaders.

This is an event targeted towards students with STEM backgrounds who are passionate about Trading and Finance, and who are interested in careers in a fast-paced commercial environment. The networking event is taking place remotely in the early afternoon of September 10.

What you can expect

• Insight into Glencore: This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure into the world of commodities trading, learning about the day-to-day work of our traders, analysts, and risk managers through structured presentations.
• Panel Q&A: Panel discussion and Q&A, featuring our commercial graduates and traders.
• Networking: The opportunity to network with senior leaders, commodities traders, and current program participants.

Attendance Requirements: 

• You are a current college student, majoring in a relevant STEM subject, with a strong academic background and a minimum 3.4 GPA.
• Be able to demonstrate an interest in, and curiosity to learn more about, commodities trading and Glencore's work.
