What You’ll Do:
- Conduct armed/unarmed patrols (foot and vehicle) to monitor security and safety.
- Monitor and respond effectively to alarms and surveillance systems.
- Control access, enforce facility rules, and ensure security protocols are strictly followed.
- Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and maintain accurate security logs.
- Assist employees, visitors, and emergency responders in a professional manner.
- Identify and recommend improvements to security practices and physical security measures.
What You’ll Bring:
- U.S. Citizenship.
- DOE/NRC Q-Clearance or DOD Top Secret Clearance Eligible.
- Completion or eligibility to pass the NC Armed PPSB certification.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Experience in military, law enforcement, corrections, or related fields.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, judgment, and interpersonal skills.
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work night shifts

Due to the nature of our work, U.S. Citizenship and DOE/NRC Q-Clearance or DOD Top Secret Clearance are required. Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining this clearance.
