Legend Brands is hiring a Mold Maintenance Technician I/II on our swing shift, Monday - Thursday 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, with a potential for overtime based on business needs.  There is a $2.00/hr. shift differential for all hours worked on the swing shift.

This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing molds and tooling used in the production of injection molded and rotomolded plastic parts and ensuring that the molds are properly maintained to ensure they produce high quality parts. The technician will also be responsible for troubleshooting any problems that arise with the molds and will work with other members of the production team to ensure that the molds are repaired as quickly as possible.

Job Requirements:

• Good understanding and working knowledge of conventional machines and machining operations
• Mechanical aptitude
• Tool selection and proper use of tools
• Ability to follow written instructions, read manuals, interpret engineering drawings
• Exceptional attention to detail, methodical, and maintains clean and well-organized workspace
• Excellent trouble shooting skills

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Mold tech and/or 3 years’ experience processing engineering resins preferred or the ability and skills to learn
• Molding and/or stamping knowledge preferred
• 3D CAD Modeling experience preferred
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel - Ability to use computerized maintenance management software (CMMS)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to obtain forklift certification within 30 days
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with machinist tools required

Hiring Range:

Between $20.00 - $25.25/hour + 2.00/hr. Shift differential
