Primary duties & responsibilities consist of:
- Assist Envelope Press Operator in obtaining supplies to run the press.
- Catch and package envelopes at the end of the production cycle.
- Assist in Press setup and job start-up.
- Assist in Press cleanup and daily maintenance.
- Stack, wrap and deliver finished products to the warehouse area.
- Assure quality control by regularly evaluating product samples.
- Continuously train and learn to build to the next level of Operator II.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Hours:
- 7am - 3pm 1st shift
- 11pm -7am 3rd Shift
- Overtime as needed
Required Skills:
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Must be able to meet minimum quotas set by management.
- Quick hand/eye coordination.
- Quality control awareness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Regular & predictable attendance required.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to stand, bend, kneel for prolong periods of time.
- Production facility environment.
- Fast-paced atmosphere.
Required Experience:
Education & Work Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Printing experience preferred, but not required.
- Production or Warehouse experience helpful but not required.
