JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Walk Around Character/Performer

Department: Executive

Reporting Relationship: Human Resources Administrator/Manager

Status: Seasonal/Non-exempt/Hourly

Summary of Duties: Responsible for walking about the park while meeting and greeting guest in a performance manner.

Primary Duties:

• Appear for meet and greets with guests, and as needed.
• Be comfortable performing in front of people and a camera.
• Pose for pictures and possibly sign autographs, as requested.
• Be comfortable wearing a costume in hot and humid weather.
• Be patient in working with diverse families, including, but not limited to, children with special needs and families that speak other languages.
• Provide our guests with fun, smiles, and special memories.

Education, experience and specialized skills and knowledge requirements:

High school or GED equivalency

Must be physically able to perform above duties without any physical limitations.
