    Job description

    GLOBAL MARKETS
Our core value is building strong relationships with our institutional clients, which include corporations, financial service providers, and fund managers. We help them buy and sell financial products on exchanges around the world, raise funding, and manage risk. This is a dynamic, entrepreneurial team with a passion for the markets, with individuals who thrive in fast-paced, changing environments and are energized by a bustling trading floor.
    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Execute day-to-day institutional client coverage across JPY interest rate products, including Japanese Government Bonds (JGBs), JPY interest rate swaps, swaptions, and cross-currency products.

    • Support senior sales professionals in maintaining and expanding relationships with domestic and international institutional investors (e.g., life/non-life insurance companies, banks and asset managers).

    • Collaborate closely with trading, structuring, and macroeconomic research teams to formulate and pitch actionable market color, trade ideas, and relative value analyses to clients.

    • Handle real-time pricing requests (RFQ), order execution, trade booking, and post-trade coordination, ensuring absolute precision and minimal operational risk.

    • Assist in client onboarding, account maintenance, and client analytics (e.g., tracking trade stats, hit rates, and share of wallet).

    • Act as a reliable bridge between domestic clients and global desks to facilitate cross-border rates transactions across time zones.

    • Comply strictly with all applicable internal compliance rules, risk protocols, and external regulatory requirements.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • 1–5 years of relevant experience in financial markets (Analyst to junior Associate level), preferably in Fixed Income sales, trading, structuring, or trade support/middle office.

    • Strong passion for macroeconomics, central bank monetary policy (BOJ, Fed, ECB), and interest rate dynamics.

    • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg Terminal.

    • High resilience, detail-oriented mindset, and proven ability to multi-task and execute under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused, collaborative approach.

    • Native Japanese proficiency
