The Private Markets Investing and Lending (PMIL) group leverages the firm’s balance sheet to deliver a comprehensive suite of structured financing and risk management solutions across the private markets ecosystem. The Private Equity Capital Call (PECC) team specializes in innovative fund-level financing, providing capital call and subscription facilities secured by the uncalled capital commitments of a fund’s limited partners. As part of Goldman Sachs’ Capital Solutions Group (CSG), the PECC team is at the forefront of consolidating the firm’s expertise in financing, origination, structuring, and risk management.

    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Role

Goldman Sachs’ PECC business, established in 2012, is supported by a collaborative deal team of 10+ professionals. The PECC Team operates across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia, with members in New York, London, Dallas, and Bengalaru. We work closely with colleagues across all divisions of the firm—including Global Banking & Markets, Asset Management, and more. We are currently seeking an Analyst to join our Dallas office.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with the PECC Team and other CSG groups to advise and develop tailored credit solutions within the firm’s risk parameters
    • Conduct thorough diligence on private equity funds and sponsors, including track records, financials, PPMs, and LPAs across diverse strategies (buyout, real estate, infrastructure, etc.)
    • Build and maintain borrowing base certificates and sophisticated financial models/spreads
    • Gather and analyze Limited Partner financial statements, subscription documentation, and credit data to support underwriting decisions and assess risk profiles
    • Evaluate the credit implications of complex structured loans
    • Draft committee memos for loan originations, modifications, and other ad-hoc transactions
    • Perform ongoing regulatory compliance and risk management efforts

    Qualifications

    • Strong interest in private equity and fund finance, with a passion for innovative credit solutions
    • Relevant work experience preferred (underwriting, lending, commercial/private banking, investment banking, investor relations, private equity, and/or credit roles)
    • Solid knowledge of financial accounting and financial analysis
    • Exceptional people and project management skills, with meticulous attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
    • Flexible team player, able to work autonomously and across multiple teams
    • Proven ability to manage changing priorities and a varied workload
