JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for transporting donated goods, new goods, and target product.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Delivers donations, equipment, supplies to Goodwill stores. Picks up salvage and trash from stores and brings it back to main plant. • Pick up donations from Attended Donation Centers. • Maintain daily log of activities. • Load and unload trucks. • Make special pickups on Saturday or Sunday. • Pick up and delivery of interoffice correspondence between plant and stores. • Assist in production or warehousing when time allows. • Abide by the policies and procedures as set forth by management and of GICO. • Attend all trainings as necessary. • Reviews and is familiar with Goodwill Industries of Central OK safety policies, programs and procedures. Adheres to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes, and attends safety training sessions and necessary safety meetings. • Consults with company drivers to ensure timeliness and route efficiency. • Punctual & dependable attendance. • Professional manner with customers, co-workers and public.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: • Performs other duties as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Clear communication skills with supervisor and store personnel, as well as with the public at times. • Ability to get along with helper and work well together and other co-workers. Able to take orders and follow instructions from Supervisor. • Ability to read and complete paperwork. • Professional manner with customers, co-workers and public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION: • Class B, C.D.L. Oklahoma license is required. • Good driving record and must pass MVR check. • Must be able to drive a standard (manual shift) truck. • At least 1-2 years over the road experience. • Must pass driver assessment.
