Starting salary is $47,000
What you will do:
- Oversee the behavior of all hourly personnel and be responsible for operating a safe, clean, and friendly place of business.
- Act in a leadership capacity demonstrating professional behavior and decision-making, effective interpersonal communication skills, and set an example for all Goodwill staff.
- Required to work one weekend day per month, and one close shift per week (unless otherwise approved by supervisor).
- Meet all store sales and production goals.
- Provide excellent customer service, including greeting and assisting customers and donors promptly.
- Develop and implement store operating plans.
- Regularly read, understand, and analyze store reports.
- Maintain a store standard of cleanliness, organization, physical repair, and a safe place of business.
- Accurately complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
- Assist in maintaining daily and weekly cash handling and banking procedures.
- Maintain merchandising standards in stocking and resets, following sizing, categorizing, and pricing guidelines; maintain all backroom operating standards.
- Hire and train staff.
- Contribute to the development and character of staff and perform written employee evaluations.
- Implement and enforce store procedures and Goodwill policy on a day-to-day basis.
