Job Title: Assistant Retail Operations Manager
Location: Store #57 Mansfield --- 989 Walnut Creek Drive Suite 151, Mansfield, Texas
Salary: $18.06 per hour
Work Hours: Full Time (40 Hours/Week). Days and hours vary. Two days off per week.

General Job Duties: Direct assigned employees in carrying out normal duties in the processing and retail sales areas and assist the Retail Operations Manager to coordinate efforts between production and store to provide for maximum efficiency. Assist the Retail Operations Manager in the supervision and training of staff in designated areas. Create an atmosphere of exceptional internal and external customer service. Assist with conflict resolution to include knowledge of the reporting process, managing ongoing employee concerns or behavioral problems, and collection of supporting documentation as needed. If requested by the Retail Operations Manager, the Assistant will administer disciplinary action that was written by the Retail Operations Manager to an employee when the Retail Operations Manager is absent. Assist with viewing candidate applications, conducting phone screens, verifying availability, and scheduling interviews at the direction of the Retail Operations Manager. Defer to the Retail Operations Manager to complete all other aspects of the hiring process, such as making hiring decisions.
Assist in the operation of the retail store to include maintenance of stock, display of merchandise, and record keeping according to established merchandising policies and procedures. Performs daily administrative/clerical functions of store operations such as opening and closing procedures, ordering supplies, setting work schedules, and assisting with payroll and components of PBI/RBI.
Assist the Retail Operations Manager in directing maintenance and housekeeping duties for the purpose of providing a safe, secure and orderly facility, including ensuring that all safety and first aid training requirements are met. Comply with all Agency policies, including Donated Goods Retail standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety and security policies and procedures.
Skills/Qualifications: Must have two (2) years experience in a retail operation which includes at least one year with supervisory responsibilities. Strong math and communication capabilities with leadership skills demonstrated in previous employment and/or position. Must be able to adapt and manage change. Ability to communicate clearly with customers and other team members, coach/train peers or team members and guide team members with disabilities and the disadvantaged. Must have proven computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office. Ability to use Point-of-Sale (POS), operate Credit Card Draft Capture Terminal and to instruct employees in the proper use of same. Operate computerized pricing and inventory system.
Physical Requirements: Sufficiently mobile to work in the entire facility and grounds, as well as the ability to travel to corporate or other locations, as requested. May be required to stand or be in a stationary position for long periods of time. Open availability to work varying schedule one hour prior to store opening and one hour after store closing 7 days a week is required.
Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements and ability to pass drug screen and background check. Additionally, employees under 18 years of age are not allowed to operate hazardous equipment (compactors, balers, augers, tippers, forklifts of any kind, etc.).
