DATA ANALYST

About the Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into meaningful insights that drive strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Your work will support various departments by providing accurate and timely reports, visualizations, and recommendations. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will help translate complex data into understandable and actionable information. Ultimately, your contributions will enhance data-driven decision-making processes and improve overall organizational performance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data analysis, including data cleaning and manipulation.
• Proficiency in R programming language and SAS for statistical analysis.
• Strong skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience working with pivot tables and advanced Excel functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline or related field.
• Experience with big data technologies and SQL databases.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and predictive analytics.
• Knowledge of Python programming for data analysis.
• Previous experience in a business intelligence or analytics role within the United States market.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and Tableau to visualize key metrics.
• Perform statistical analysis and data modeling using R and SAS to uncover trends and insights.
• Create pivot tables and other data summaries to support ad hoc analysis and business queries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
• Identify data quality issues and implement data cleansing processes to improve data integrity.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Skills:

The required skills are essential for daily tasks such as cleaning and preparing data to ensure high quality and reliability. Using R and SAS, you will conduct statistical analyses and build models that reveal important trends and insights. Data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau will be employed to create interactive dashboards and reports that communicate findings effectively to stakeholders. Pivot tables and data cleansing techniques will be used regularly to summarize data and maintain its accuracy. Preferred skills like SQL and Python can further enhance your ability to manage large datasets and perform advanced analytics, enabling you to provide deeper insights and support complex business needs.
