    Minimum qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5 years of experience in sales, business development, advertising, account management, marketing, or consulting.
    • Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Master’s degree in a business related field.
    • Experience working with large enterprise clients, preferably within the Consumer Products and Retail sector.
    • Experience with Google Ads products (Search, Display, YouTube, App Campaigns, P-Max).
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
    • Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.

We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

    Responsibilities

    • Cultivate and sustain long-term partnerships with executive stakeholders across assigned retail accounts. Align deeply with their strategic goals and challenges to proactively recommend tailored Google solutions.
    • Unlock incremental business growth streams by identifying strategic upselling and cross-selling avenues across Google’s ads portfolio. Achieve and surpass quarterly and annual sales goals.
    • Develop highly persuasive, analytical business cases and proposals that align Google’s value proposition with specific client pain points. Present compelling narratives to executive-level audiences.
    • Lead the seamless execution of advertising campaigns in coordination with internal specialist units (gTech, Product Leads). Proactively fine-tune and optimize setups to guarantee maximum performance and client satisfaction.
    • Keep a sharp pulse on retail industry dynamics, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape. Translate deep product knowledge of Google’s latest ad tech into actionable growth opportunities for clients.
