Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Data Science, Applied AI, or a related technical role.
Preferred qualifications:
- 7 years of industry experience analyzing, extracting, and visualizing valuable insights from large and varied datasets.
- Experience conceptualizing, designing, and building high impact machine learning solutions that were integrated into production systems.
- Track record of delivering investigative recommendations that were adopted by an organization and drove real-world business impact.
- Ability to both effectively collaborate with teammates and independently drive workstreams forward and overcome any obstacles that arise.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively and concisely convey the results of your work both verbally and in short write-ups.

In this role, you will be tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. You will use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google Ads products. You will be a strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You will work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed with urgency. You will be working hard to promote user's trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.Responsibilities
- Lead projects/investigations and cross-functional initiatives within Google, interacting with executive stakeholders from engineering, legal, product teams and more.
- Design and deliver improvements to our performance metrics based on understanding of drivers of abuse and leverage fellow teammates to deliver exceptional business results.
- Provide technical contributions to the team and leverage investigative and programming skills to ensure that solutions fit within the current complex product and back-end infrastructures.
- Design and deliver cross-functional strategic solutions at scale, focused on User Safety, process optimizations and safe business for our Advertisers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels.
