    About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the flow of all maintenance work orders by working with Data Center Operations and vendors. Plan and schedule technicians, parts, and resources needed for maintenance activities.
    • Establish and maintain equipment files, parts inventory, and Preventive Maintenance schedules. Manage the process of launching CMMS and work management processes.
    • Partner closely with site supervisors, technicians, Subject Matter Experts, and facility management to establish work priorities, develop and maintain schedules, balance resource leveling, solve problems, and streamline daily operations. Collaborate with other site Planners to implement global best practices that optimize maintenance programs.
    • Provide equipment-related expertise and technical guidance to improve PM activities. Develop safe, efficient, and long-term maintenance plans and forecasts.
    • Manage, schedule, and engage external maintenance vendors to ensure alignment with data center maintenance goals.
