    About the job

Enable Core to create exceptional value for Alphabet by delivering efficient, resilient and innovative IT services and technology through strategic partnerships at scale.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Own and manage relationships with key GTE vendor service providers. Oversee service delivery performance to ensure high-quality output and successful customer outcomes. Lead regular vendor performance and business reviews, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs).
    • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and commercial leakage using data-driven insights. Collaborate with vendor sites and business stakeholders to develop and implement innovative, scalable solutions.
    • Manage and optimize processes impacting operations, including contracting, budget/finances, capacity planning, and Statement of Work (SOW) compliance.
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for internal and external performance or supplier relationship issues, resolving operational bottlenecks independently.
