£13.45 per hour

What’s The Role?

As a Box Collector, you’ll be responsible for preparing, packing and arranging the despatch of requested boxes from our Warrington site. These may include Recipe Development, Recipe Tester, Photography and Public Relations boxes.

You’ll work closely with teams across Food Technical, Planning, Buying, Logistics, Supply Chain and Food Development to make sure ingredients, recipe cards and supporting materials are available, accurate and packed to the right standard.

This role is key to ensuring boxes are complete, well-presented and despatched on time, while maintaining strong standards around food safety, quality, traceability and health & safety.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preparing, packing and despatching requested boxes accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Reviewing box requests and checking that all ingredients, recipe cards, packaging and supporting materials are available before packing begins.
• Collecting ingredients and products from site, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected and handled safely.
• Packing Recipe Development and other development boxes accurately, recording and communicating any agreed substitutions or omissions.
• Packing PR boxes to a high presentation standard, ensuring all requested ingredients and recipes are included.
• Working with internal teams to resolve missing or unavailable products, including Planning, Buyers, Food Technical, Logistics and Food Development.
• Coordinating recipe cards and other supporting materials, ensuring the correct versions are included in the right boxes.
• Completing required stock adjustments and maintaining accurate records of products collected, used, substituted, omitted or purchased.
• Arranging and confirming despatch, including labels, tracking information and stakeholder updates.
• Responding to urgent, high-priority or short-notice requests while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
• Following all site food safety, quality, hygiene and health & safety procedures, escalating any issues where needed.

Who You Are

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being organised, takes pride in getting the details right and is confident working with different teams to get things done.

You’ll be someone who can manage multiple requests, adapt when priorities change and stay calm when things need to move quickly. You’ll also be comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks from the initial request through to final despatch.

No specific formal qualification is required for this role, although experience within food manufacturing, food safety, warehouse, operations or a similar environment would be advantageous. Full mandatory site-specific training, food safety, health & safety and role-related training will be provided.
