    • Employment Type: SGEU Term 9 months or more
    • Salary Range: 26.002 - 32.589
    • Hours of Work: A - SGEU Office 36 – one date off every two weeks

    The Opportunity:

    The successful candidate will demonstrate strong computer skills, knowledge of administrative procedures, the ability to prepare and compose correspondence using clear and concise language, and experience processing transactions in a high-volume processing environment.

    We are seeking a candidate who can work independently as well as collaboratively, exhibits professionalism, and demonstrates accountability and sound judgment.

    Typically, the knowledge, competencies and experience required for this position is obtained through completion of formal diploma level education in office administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Responsibilities

    • Performing receptionist duties.
    • Administrative duties such as opening, scanning and distributing of mail to the staff.
    • Performing pre-audit functions on client expenditures.
    • Processing and recording expenditures and income.
    • Reference, interpret and apply regulations and policies as required.

    Technical Knowledge and Skills:

    • Knowledge of duties and responsibilities of a receptionist;
    • Knowledge of office and/or administrative procedures and protocols including office filing procedures and systems;
    • Knowledge of various computer applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheet software, databases and scanning software;
    • Knowledge and ability to prepare and compose clear and concise correspondence;
