Currently, Goyette Mechanical Company has an immediate opening for an experienced Service Electrician in our Service Department around our Flint, Michigan location. We are looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our team. This position will perform a variety of electrical service work in residential and commercial applications, including troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades, installations, and small remodel projects.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently

• Quick thinking and strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to be covered on Company insurance policy
• Travel to customers' homes and places of business to diagnose and repair electrical issues
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, equipment, and controls in residential and commercial settings
• Perform electrical service upgrades, panel replacements, and system improvements
• Install and wire air-cooled standby generators and related equipment
• Complete small electrical remodel and renovation projects
• Provide customers with recommendations and options for repairs and upgrades
• Submit complete and organized paperwork in a timely fashion
• Keep company-provided vehicle clean and well maintained
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all applicable electrical codes and regulations
• Must be willing and eligible to join the Electrical Union
• Must have a journeyman license
