Senior Engineer, Finance Systems

This is a hybrid engineering role for someone who builds autonomous, agentic AI systems and is comfortable integrating them into a live ERP landscape. You will design Large Language Model-based agents that plan, reason, and use tools. These agents will implement multi-step Finance and Procurement workflows with minimal human intervention. These agents will connect safely into Oracle Fusion processes. Your work will let us build AI-driven automation internally, promoting this capability directly alongside our Oracle developers.

You will work on site at our office in Bangalore, India.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Develop autonomous AI agents that plan, reason, and complete Finance and Procurement workflows across O2C, R2R, and P2P.
• Integrate agents with Oracle Fusion Cloud, external APIs, and databases so they can take actions in production ERP processes.
• Improve model and agent performance through prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
• Build evaluation and testing frameworks that measure agent reliability, accuracy, and safety.
• Implement and maintain guardrails and human oversight for automated finance workflows.
• Break down complex, multi-step business processes into components suitable for AI implementation.
• Set technical direction and engineering standards, and guide peers on agentic AI and ERP integration patterns.

You will need

• 3+ years in software engineering, including 5+ years designing and building scalable systems.
• AI engineering skills: Python, API design, and hands-on experience building with large language models.
• Experience with AI/ML fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Backend proficiency across databases, microservices, and system architecture.
• Experience deconstructing complex business tasks into steps an AI system can implement.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
