Master Production Scheduler

Location: Shannon

What are your main tasks?

Provides production scheduling plan
Scheduling – production output
Manpower – schedules each job with standard manpower by way of press/assembly
Die Changes – schedules mold changes as required
Maintain inventory levels in order to meet production schedule
Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to prioritize and fulfill customer needs
Guides material planning for on hand component inventory to build production to customer needs
Monitor inventory adjustments and cycle counts
Coordinate forecasts with Production Manager
Track schedule performance vs. production actuals
Monitor customer computer systems for daily changes
Prepares and distributes customer releases
Participates and guides year-end inventory planning and counts

Deliverables:

Customer requirement reports with weekly and monthly information
Production Performance
Promotes IATF 16949 compliance

What are your qualifications?

Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience
Minimum 2 years production scheduling experience in a similar environment
Automotive and/or Tier1/Tier 2 manufacturing experience
Significant experience with MRP and scheduling systems (specifically SAP)
Ability to identify urgent or emerging problems, develop alternative corrective actions and engage appropriate colleagues in the timely implementation of corrective actions
