Position Summary:
Assists the manufacturing department with various tasks to keep up with production efficiencies. This Job Description is not meant to be all-inclusive, and requirements may change according to the demands of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Moving of materials and product from one department to the next according to workflow requirements utilizing forklift.
- Organizing work areas, including stock outside as required
- Utilize sandblast or hand grind equipment to assist with production requirements
- Follow safety procedures as defined for work performed
- Monitor tools and equipment utilized for safety and required maintenance
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
- Forklift license and overhead crane permits (company trained)
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year production experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- The employee frequently is required to use hand and fingers in handling, grasping, or feeling objects, tools, or controls for an extended period of time
- Standing, all day, occasional bending and reaching
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and production environment with exposure to noise, dust, sparks, metal particles, fumes, vibration, and temperature fluctuations.
- Regular exposure to moving machinery, steel materials, and industrial equipment.
- Required use of personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, and other required PPE.
