Casual Veterinarian - Brisbane North

Company Description

Some vets are looking for one clinic, one roster, one rhythm. Others are looking for freedom, variety, and the chance to keep their clinical days fresh.

This is for the vet who loves the energy of stepping into different teams, meeting new clients, seeing a broad mix of cases, and knowing their week can flex around the rest of their life.

Across our Brisbane North network, including clinics such as Mitchelton, Kippa-Ring, North Lakes and Morayfield, we are looking for a confident casual vet who enjoys making a positive impact wherever they go.

We are proud of the way our teams show up for each other, for our clients, and for the pets who rely on us. As a casual vet in our region, you will be welcomed into clinics that value kindness, clinical standards, practical support, and a shared commitment to helping pets live long, happy and healthy lives.

What makes this opportunity different

This is casual work with real connection behind it.

You will have the chance to:

• Work across multiple Brisbane North clinics and build relationships with a wide network of teams
• Enjoy flexibility around when and where you work
• Keep your clinical days varied, with different case mixes, clinic styles and client communities
• Step into supportive teams that appreciate experienced, capable hands
• Choose casual shifts that suit your lifestyle, energy and availability
• Stay connected to the profession without being locked into a fixed routine

Who will thrive here

You will suit this role if you are a vet who brings calm, confidence and care into the room.

You may be someone who:

• Enjoys variety and adapts well to different clinic environments
• Is comfortable working with established teams and contributing quickly
• Communicates warmly with clients and clearly with nurses and fellow vets
• Brings sound clinical judgement and knows when to ask for support
• Values flexibility, but still wants to feel part of something bigger
• Takes pride in helping every clinic day run well for pets, clients and the team

What we back you with

While this is a casual opportunity, you will not be stepping in alone.

Across our Brisbane North clinics, we offer:

• A broad network of clinics, giving you variety and choice
• Supportive clinical environments where your experience is respected
• The opportunity to work with different teams, learn different workflows, and broaden your local network
• Flexibility that lets you shape work around life, not the other way around

Casual work suits vets who enjoy variety, independence and flexibility. Each clinic has its own rhythm, team flow and way of working, so this role is best suited to someone who can walk in with a positive, adaptable mindset and feel comfortable finding their feet quickly.

Whether you are covering a busy day, supporting a team through leave, or bringing an extra pair of experienced hands to a clinic that needs you, your presence makes a difference. For the team, for the clients, and for the pets who deserve thoughtful, compassionate care every time they walk through our doors.
